
The official Barlcays hot air balloon is operated by Exclusive Ballooning was was built in 2008 as part of a rolling campaign of new branch openings.

The balloon was launched in Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester by CEO Deanna Oppenheimer coinciding with the opening of the New St branch.

The Barclays balloon is particularly special as it constructed completely from unique dyed fabric to match the Barclays pantone brand requirement.




Barclays utilise the balloon for branch openings and corporate events but the balloon can also be seen at large balloon festivals such as the Exclusive Cup and the Bristol International Balloon Festival.


Barclays is 90,000 cubic feet in volume standing approximately 90 feet tall and could hold £155,520,000 in £1 coins or two Olympic swimming pools!
