G-CFXI and G-CFXL are the giant Blue Square balloons operated by Exclusive Ballooning and are a common site at major sporting events throughout the UK.

The regular balloon has a volume of 90,000 cubic feet and was first launched in March 2009 at Newbury racecourse and the special shape was launched a month later in April 2009 next to Tower Bridge at the London Marathon.

The balloons were created primarily as a marketing tool to support Blue Square sponsored events but they have been so succesful they now also undertake corporate flying.
The square has a surface area of seventeen badminton courts and could hold 2,000,000,000,000 casino gaming dice or the contents of two olympic swimming pools.

The balloons are now a regular site across the sporting and events calendar having visited the Silverstone formula 1 GP, Cricket and football events including visits to Wembley, the Bristol balloon fiesta, Great North Run and horse racing events at Cheltenham, Lingfield, York, Newbury, Sandown, Goodwood, Epsom... the list goes on.

The Square also has a secret weapon - interchangeable banners which have helped gain extra publicity throughout the campaign including the odd guerilla marketing flight!

In2009 the balloon also appeared in an MTV Music Video in support of the England Cricket team during their Ashes campaign
