Exclusive Ballooning have this week launched a new company which is dedicated to offering disabled and wheelchair accessible balloon flights - ballooningaccess.com

After hearing many wheelchair users complain that when they were searching for outdoor activities for wheelchair users and or the disabled, they could find no company in the UK offering this service, we decided to set up a service from our head office base in Gloucestershire to offer just that.

ballooningaccess.com is now fully certified by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) for undertaking flights using a specially certified basket. The basket, again certified by the CAA, has an opening door on one side allowing the chair access. The chair and occupant are then secured safely before take off. There is room for a standing guest to accompany the wheelchair on the flight and flights generally last around one hour and we can even offer gift vouchers so the flight can be purchased as a gift.
