Blue Square At The FA Cup

Exclusive Ballooning's giant Blue Square hot air balloon was at the Racecourse stadium in Wrexham this evening for the FA Cup third round replay between Wrexham and Brighton and Hove Albion.

G-CFXI was inflated before the match ahead of the huge crowd that arrived to support Wrexham and carried a banner asking 'GOING UP?' as Wrexham are currently top of the Blue Sqaure Premier division.

The balloon remained inflated throughout the match and was frequently shown on S4C and ESPN who were both covering the match live. Highlights from the game also show the balloon and have featured nationally on the BBC and other news networks.

Meanwhile, Mr Cube Man, the inflatable walking blue square, was on the pitch before the match and during half time again picking up the attention of the cameras.

Sadly Wrexham were eventually overcome only after a penalty shoot out 5-4.
