When Sky TV wanted something to wow their TV audiences and stand out at the major summer music festivals they came to Exclusive Ballooning.

The new Sky Arts HD Balloon tour is using a Kubicek BB22E - the first in the UK - with an active volume of 77,000 cubic feet. The fabric is a special colour lilac to match the Sky Arts HD branding and the balloon was built in just a matter of weeks in order to hit the delivery deadline of the Isle of Wight festival.

The brief - the hot air balloon will be used throughout the summer as the platform for post performance interviews as bands come off of stage. The balloon also makes a fantastic backdrop over the stage during the event, ensuring a wealth of social media coverage.

Sky's coverage of the events which include Bestival, Lattitude, the Isle of Wight festival and the Edinburgh festival will be covered on Sky Arts HD and Sky One HD and will also be broadcast in 3D.
